Parshle: Word Puzzle with Hidden Clues

Guess a five-letter word in six tries with 5–12 hidden-feedback cells spread across the first five guesses.

How to play

  1. Guess the hidden five-letter word in six attempts. Every guess must be a word in the word list.
  2. Green means the right letter in the right spot. Yellow means the letter belongs elsewhere. Pink means absent or used too many times.
  3. Each board has 5–12 black tiles spread across the first five rows, with different hidden counts per row. They are visible from the start, so you can plan around the hidden clues. These positions stay fixed for the puzzle. Typed letters stay visible, but their feedback is hidden. The last row has no black tiles and shows all feedback. The winning guess reveals all five tiles in green, with formerly black tiles slightly shaded.
  4. The keyboard only tracks revealed feedback. Black tiles do not provide any information about whether a letter belongs in the answer.
  5. Type with your keyboard or tap the on-screen keys. Enter submits and Backspace erases.
  6. Daily mode gives everyone the same word and hidden positions. Random mode lets you practice with new puzzles.

A quick example

A black tile hides its color, not its letter. Use the visible colors and earlier guesses to narrow down the answer.
